Day 5 in Alaska
Today ended up being a pretty slow day overall. Most of the group stayed around the house for the morning and early afternoon, so we didn’t really go out and do much for most of the day. We eventually made lunch around 2:30 p.m. before finally deciding to get out of the house.
Later in the afternoon, we drove out to hike around Exit Glacier and spend some time seeing the glacier up close. Even though it had been raining again for most of the day, the weather eased up a little while we were out there. It ended up being a really fun afternoon, even if we all came back a little cold and wet from the hike.
Once we got back to the Airbnb, Anna and I made potato soup for dinner, which was definitely a good choice after being outside in the cold rain. The rest of the evening was spent editing photos, going through everyone’s work from the trip, and posting TikToks across all of our accounts. We stayed up relaxing and watching movies until around midnight before finally heading to bed.
